Roundtable Description
The Roundtable includes two core sessions:
- Briefings about ISO related critical minerals initiatives: These high-level briefings will provide insight as well as some historical context. Our presenters will focus remarks on the drivers for formation, structure and leadership, level of activity and engagement (overall and from the U.S.), work underway or expected (high-level), and near-term coordination opportunities. In addition to the Meeting Materials posted, the ISO IWA 45 will be briefed, but ANSI does not have permission to distribute it.
- Challenges and Opportunities Discussion: This discussion will focus on how U.S. stakeholders perceive the current ISO activity structure and landscape of activities and discuss potential actions to inform an effective U.S. strategy in support of international standards for critical minerals.
Note that the roundtable discussions will be limited to the ISO activities. Please review what ANSI’s role is in ISO activities and about U.S. representation in ISO prior to the meeting as the agenda does not include briefings about ANSI and ISO. You can learn more by navigating through ANSI’s ISO Programs & Activities portion under ISO menu bar on www.ansi.org.
