THE U.S. CELEBRATION OF WORLD STANDARDS DAY (WSD) IS ALL NEW FOR 2023!

The U.S. Celebration of WSD planning committee—co-chaired by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)—is excited to announce that the annual WSD event has been restructured and re-energized, offering attendees an evening of extensive networking opportunities and lively conversation and interactions. In place of the sit-down dinner and program, attendees will instead enjoy a lengthened networking reception with a variety of food and drink options throughout, highlighted by the WSD program where the recipient of the Ronald Brown Standards Leadership Award and the winner of the WSD Paper Competition will be honored. The schedule of the event, to be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC, is as follows:

4:45pm–5:30pm   Opening networking reception and exhibits
5:30pm–6:30pm   WSD program
6:30pm–8:00pm   Continued networking reception and exhibits

The U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day is a widely attended event that is co-sponsored and attended by federal government agencies to recognize and honor the many contributions of the U.S. standards and conformity assessment community.
