Dr. Yim is the Net Zero national standard coordinator of KATS, performing the role of establishing and implementing the Net Zero standardization roadmap of Korea in order to stimulate the national 2050 Net Zero goal achievement.
She received her Doctor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany specialized in Eco-design and Life Cycle Assessment, while working at the Institute of Machine Tools and Production Technology(IWF) as a research engineer performing various international projects.
She enriched her global industrial experience at Lloyd’s Register by auditing and tutoring over 100 global companies’ environmental as well as greenhouse gas management for 10 years as well as working at Hyundai Motor Company as a senior research engineer for developing new environmental technologies. She currently also serves as a technical expert of various TCs in ISO/IEC.
