As principal consultant for Mickie Rops Consulting LLC, Rops has been advising organizations in certification, certificate programs, and accreditation for over 25 years. Mickie has also been a lead assessor for the ANAB accreditation of personnel certification programs for 18 years. She also serves as the lead convener for ASTM E2659-18 Standard Practice for Certificate Programs, the standard against which the ANAB Certificate Accreditation Program assesses compliance.

She has masters degrees in both adult education and instructional design and certifications in quality auditing (ASQ), credentialing (ICE) and association management (ASAE).
